What we collect

For principals: name, contact email, phone (optional), city/state, role or relationship to the principal, and the details of any protection request you submit. For firms: company information, license numbers, insurance carrier and coverage, certifications, references, and operational footprint. For all users: authentication metadata, IP address, and platform activity logs.

How we use it

To verify eligibility, run vetting, match principals with firms, operate the platform, communicate with you, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We do not run third party advertising on the platform.

Who sees what

Principal identities are pseudonymous by default. Firms see only the information a principal chooses to disclose, and only after a match is initiated. Sentinel staff with a need to know access the underlying data for matching and vetting. Vetting data is not shared with other firms.

Retention

Account and engagement records are retained for the duration of your account plus 7 years for licensing, tax, and dispute resolution. Vetting files are retained for the period the firm is listed plus 3 years. You may request earlier deletion subject to legal hold.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is gated by role based controls and row level security in our database. Production access is restricted to a small number of named staff under written confidentiality obligations.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@sentinelprivate.network. Texas residents and other US state residents have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to opt out of profiling and the right to a portable copy of your data.
